A clown and his laptop

Hot chip tonight! Not sure who this opening act is but it’s a guy with face paint in the style of A nightmare before Christmas and his laptop. He’s distorting his voice and it sounds like Kermit the frog, if kermit was a face painting DJ.

Update 20:43 he is playing an industrial version of Black Sabbath - War Pigs. Wow

Almost time!

Hot Chip was amazing. I didn’t come in with too high expectations with a small pre-Austin city limits crowd, but they blew me away with their energy, lighting and all around performance.

Name That Tune, v.2

Round 2! I think it’s a little easier than the previous one. 16 tracks in one awesome minute.

Enjoy the

Ratatat

Thanks to Stu and radioUTD for getting me into a sold out Ratatat show for free.

With the show being sold out, my usual spot up front was occupied by a bunch of middle schoolers, so tonight’s pictures aren’t going to be too impressive.

E*rock

E*rock was rocking put with a wiimote. I think that’s all I have to say.

Up next is Panther. The singer came up on stage and said that he was on shrooms.

So amazing

Now that I’m actually on a computer, I can see how crappy my iPhone pictures were when I’m not absolute front row. I really had a good view from my own eyes though. To make up for it, here’s the great music video for Ratatat’s song Mirando off of LP3.
